Who Goes in the Limo with the Bride to the Church?

Who goes in the limo with the bride? Who is next in line for a seat in that stretch vehicle that’s transporting all of the main bridal party to your venue? And if you don’t know the answer — it’s time to ask.

This article gives you 5 different options you should consider when choosing who goes in the wedding limo with the bride to the church.

Scenario #1: Parents of the bride

It is customary for the parents of the bride to ride in the limo with the bride to the church. This is because they have been there for their daughter through all her life. And it’s only right that they should be a part of her special day.

In addition, it is important for them to spend time with their daughter before she gets married so that they can get a chance to know one another as well as make sure that she has everything she needs during her transition into married life.

When the bride and groom are ready to head to the church, they will be met by their parents. The parents will be in a limousine and parade down the aisle behind the couple, holding hands and walking with them until they reach the front of the church.

Scenario #2: The maid of honor

The maid of honor is the woman who will be in the limousine with the bride on her wedding day.

The maid of honor is usually a close friend or relative of the bride, but it can also be someone from outside the wedding party. This person will help out with last-minute preparations and make sure that everything goes smoothly on the big day.

This person also handles any money or gifts given to them during the wedding ceremony, so they should be careful about what happens to these items as well!

Scenario #3: The bridesmaids

The bridesmaids could also be the people who go in the limousine with the bride to the church.

The bridesmaids are responsible for helping the bride get ready for her big day. They help her pick out her dress, coordinate her hair and makeup, and ensure that she is comfortable throughout the day. The bride is likely to be nervous about walking down the aisle, so having someone there to comfort her is very important.

The bridesmaids also help with all of the other details of wedding planning—including organizing flowers, invitations, cake, and other decorative items. They can also help with things like making sure that there is enough food on hand at any given time so that everyone has something to eat during cocktail hour or when they’re eating dinner after church is over.

Scenario #4: Flower girl and ring bearer

The flower girl and ring bearer, like the bride, are guests at the wedding. They’re also asked to stand in front of the church while the bride arrives.

The ring bearer carries two rings—one for each of the couple’s hands—and will hand them to the bride as she walks down the aisle. The flower girl may take some flowers from a basket and decorate herself with them before walking down the aisle.

Scenario #5: Let the bride choose

Let the bride choose who goes in the limo with her to the church. This way, she can be sure that whoever is in the limo with her is someone she’s comfortable with and can trust.

Conclusion

Ultimately, the decision of who goes with the bride and groom in the limo will come down to how the bride wishes to treat her bridesmaids and how they treat one another. Whether they pile into a corner and giggle or fight over who gets to sit next to the driver will come down to the bride’s wishes. Hopefully, however, before she walks down the aisle, she can remind them that this is about friendship above all else.
